Pois é. Num mundo devastado, você é um dos sortudos membros de 1/100 pessoas dos estados unidos que conseguiram entrar nas Vault's (Valvúlas, em inglês) e se protegeram contra as bombas lançadas em massa contra o seu país natal.

Seu pai, um dia, some da segurança e vida mansa da sua Vault. Você é acordado por sua melhor amiga, e pouco a pouco percebe que você também teria que fugir. Você, agora, é suspeito. E o dono da Vault em que você vive quer sua cabeça. Você emerge no deserto do que um dia já foi Washington D.C. Um mundo cheio de perigo, ganância. Um mundo livre, onde você escolhe o que vai ser. Bom, ou mal? Um assassino impiedoso ou um comerciante nato? Um fugitivo sem lugar para se esconder ou um pacifico morador de uma cidade feita de destroços de aviões caídos?

A jogabilidade do jogo é perfeita. Você customiza totalmente seu personagem, lembrando jogos de RPG. O sistema de tiro lembra Call of Duty, e você pode pegar praticamente tudo que encontrar. Pratos vazios, tudo. As ruínas de Washington D.C te esperam.

Do you ever wondered what would happen if the world was gone by today?

If UNO disbanded and WW3 started? What if your country was bombed? What if your doggie growed up a second head because of the radiation and then tried to rip off your arm?

That's it. In a devastaded world, you're one of the lucky 1/100 U.S population that got inside one of the Vaults and was saved from the mass-bombing that hit your country. One day, your dad ran away from the security and safekeeping of the Vault. You're awakened by your best friend, and, all of sudden, discovers that you also have to flee from the Vault. You're a suspect you know. And the Vault owner wants your head. You rise upon the Capital Wasteland of what was once Washington D.C. A free world, where you'll choose what you'll be. Good or evil? A ruthless killer or a naive merchant? A runaway wanderer or a pacific settler from a city which was built with the ruins of a plane?

The gameplay is just awesome. You customize almost everything, like Role Playing games. The shooting system also looks like that of the Call of Duty series. You can also pick up anything. Empty plates, everything. The D.C Ruins are waiting for you.
